OUR HISTORY AND PHILOSOPHY

David Throgmorton started welding and fabrication in his garage at the age of twelve and at fifteen he was doing custom framework on off-road motorcycles. At the age of sixteen, he started working at McMillan's Custom Auto Painting, where he learned how to do custom and production quality body work, how to work with lead and fiberglass, as well as automotive painting and preparation. He also studied machine tool technology, metallurgy, and chassis and suspension design and construction under the guidance of metallurgist Michael Griswold. At the age of twenty, David bought his first frame machine and started working for George Chevrolet in Bellflower as an auto-body frame specialist.

In 1975 at the age of twenty-three, David branched out on his own and started Throgmorton's Frame Repair Clinic in Norwalk, California. Since then, he has built reputation on quality service and integrity, and backs this up with limited lifetime warranties on the majority of his work that either meets of exceeds those found anywhere else in the industry. His philosophy has always been that customer satisfaction is the top priority, and he guarantees that your vehicle will look and function the same way it did before your accident. Additionally, he believes that honesty and integrity is of the most importance in automotive repair. And to that we will never tell you that something needs to be fixed if its not broken. And he will include you in every possible part of the repair process.

In 2001 Throgmorton's opened up its newest facility in the City of Commerce to further expand our ability to service your automotive repair needs. The new facility incorporates complete auto body and paint services with technicians that have the highest quality training and experience. With over 130 years of combined experience throughout the Throgmorton's staff, we can assure you that the quality of our work will be the highest caliber.

At Throgmorton's, if you're not happy, we're not!
